Developments on our infrastructure are being worked on, and as new technologies emerge in our
service offerings, we have upgraded some of our plans to include more data transfer due to the increasing requirements

It is our pleasure to inform our customers that we have successfully chosen the most suitable
anti-relaying technology. All tests have proven to be successful, and the upgraded systems now check out as anti-relaying
safe with online open relay check services. As a result, all of the systems on our network are being upgraded to be
equipped with this new technology, where you will no longer receive bounced messages by the occasional ISPs who check
against open relay ISPs blacklists. We are not anti-relaying compliant.

Yet another great new addition has been made to our services. Our Guides (Control Panel system)
have now been converted to where mailboxes, majordomo lists, etc... no longer need for a waiting time. Everything is setup
in real-time. This increases not only productivity, where you will get everything done at the times you need, but you can

Excitement is still growing here in SmartHosting. Our most recent addition to our line of
servers, are our new 800Mhz machines with 1GB+ SDRAM memory, 18GB+ hard drives which are powered by Ultra160 SCSI technology.
Ultra160 SCSI technology allows for us to give you data transfer speeds of 160MB/s. This is two to four times the speed
of our older machines, along with the higher CPU and memory. The best advantage: We still stand by our 100-120 accounts
per server policy.

Our Online Billing System has finally been added to all accounts. It is now possible to see the
statement online and the contents of each invoice without the need to wait for our billing department to provide you with
such information as it is readily available 24 hours, 7 days a week and 365 days a year.
Extra features are already included such as selective displaying of information. As this is the basis for our online
billing system, we are planning to expand it by adding more interactive features in the future.

The Guide version 3.0 is now available! The new Guide may look the same as before, to our existing
customers, because the new additions are invisible at first. The new feature of the Guide, is the possibility to customize
the Guide's layout, colors, backgrounds and just about everything else.
This will now allow for resellers to customize
the Guide with their logos, for example, while at the same time, non-resellers can also benefit from this, by being able
to change the colors of the text and backgrounds - which may resolve the occasional visual problem of our white text on a gray background.

New servers have been setup in NOC 2 to serve the public. These servers have a new and improved Pentium III chipset. The CPU is 500Mhz with 256MB PC-100 RAM. The expected load is 100-120 customers per server as usually, to maintain a stable environment.

Major additions have been made to the F.A.Q. database (this includes the point-n-click F.A.Q.) throughout the month of April. Another improvement was made to the Shopping Cart system, which now allows for a shopper to specify a different shipping address from the billing address. This new upgrade is fully compatible with the member ID's and all past database entries.

The Installers in the Guides have been upgraded to version 4.0. While, previously, it was possible to install multiple copies of a script on different locations, it was only possible to uninstall the last installed copy.
Now, it is possible to uninstall every single installed copy by selecting which one to uninstall. It is also possible to administrate every single installed copy. Some bug fixes have been made to this upgraded version as well.
